“Euro Vision”, a play staged by the Lithuanian director Vidas Bareikis, will have its premiere in the LMT New Hall of the Latvian National Library on the 22nd of October. “Euro Vision” is the third instalment in the “Splendours and Miseries of the Schengen Zone” series of four plays staged at the Latvian National Theatre in co-operation with the “Riga 2014” foundation. “Euro Vision” focuses on the Eurovision song contest, one of the few things that truly unite people in Europe. The play presents a different kind of the song contest, which deals with problems that we currently have to solve, but which may be seen from completely different perspectives in every country. The dress rehearsal of the play was on the 21st of October.
