On the 5th of December, the International Volunteer Day, several events took place in Riga to honour Latvia’s volunteers. In the morning, multiple volunteers together with artists I. Heinacka, L. Bistrakova and L. Uzulēna participated in the creation of the urban environment installation “Cinīši” at the Daugava Promenade in Ķengarags, near the footbridge (Maskavas iela 322 D). The installation is part of the festival of spatial objects “The Way through the Christmas Trees”, and it offered a great opportunity for members of the public to witness, and participate in, the creation of a unique art project. The entire process was supervised and guided by “Ghetto Games” founding father Raimonds Elbakjans.
