How the Street Artwork “Saule, Pērkons, Daugava” was Created

In May 2014, the largest street artwork in the Baltic countries, “Saule, Pērkons, Daugava” (“Sun, Thunder, Daugava”) was created by local artists Dainis Rudens (Rudens Stencil) and Kiwie during the “Blank Canvas” street art festival. In total, ten street artworks were created on buildings’ walls and facades during the festival. This is the first time the “Blank Canvas” festival is organised, it was included in the “Riga 2014” Programme.
