Information centre of European Capital of Culture is open!
Diāna Čivle, Head of „Rīga 2014” Foundation and Māris Āboltiņš, director of „Galleria Riga” shopping mall, opened the information centre. Āboltiņš also registered for „Chain of Booklovers” in order to take a part at this next year's central event of „Riga- European Capital of Culture”.
„2014 will be full of marvelous and surprising events, and ”Galleria Riga„ is going to be one of our official partners. We already collaborated this summer while curating ”Esplanāde 2014„ events,” told Diāna Čivle. „ ”Rīga 2014„ has many project managers, partners and friends, and now ”Galleria Riga„ can proudly call themselves as one of our friends. For them, it's gonna be a new and interesting challenge, and we are sure our cooperation will bring great results. The spirit of culture comes in ”Galleria Riga„ where information centre will be a good place for people to find out news about ”Rīga 2014„.”
„For ”Galleria Riga„, this will be a new experience in supporting cultural events. It's an opportunity to gain new education and diversify services we offer to our customers. ”Rīga 2014„ has an attractive and contemporary visual identity which fits well in the conservative environment of ”Galleria Riga„,” tols M.Āboliņš.
