Project description:

The “Riga Films” project is part of the “Riga 2014” Programme that brings together film professionals and schoolchildren who jointly create short films about life in various Riga neighbourhoods. Film professionals hold workshops to teach the basics of shooting a film and help the workshop participants create short films about the places they live in. The short films and the best early films about Riga will be presented to the public from the 6th of August, when the National Film Centre’s series of open-air film screenings will begin at the culture chalet “Esplanade”.
