Re-vision “Daugavgrīva Castle” on the 6th of September from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. will demonstrate how revision of historical materials can be transformed overnight into the vision of a castle as an ideal place for art. Daugavgrīva Castle is a historic and cultural monument that is, once again, at a crossroads and looking at various possibilities, one of which is that the unique cultural monument may be lost forever. Putting the castle on the cultural map of Riga will help the public notice the potential of the edifice and learn about its importance for the history of the neighbourhood.
“Struck by a Star” readings will take place at the Daugavgrīva Castle’s gate at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Author – Mārtiņš Galenieks, director – Jānis Znotiņš, cast: Jānis Znotiņš, Uldis Siliņš, Andrejs Možeiko and others.
Video projections by Armīns Ozoliņš, Līva Nordmane and Mārtiņš Rusmanis will be on show from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
