Exhibition of Sound Art ‘Skan II’

The Botanical Garden and the area around it were chosen to become the platform for “SKAN II” as the idea is to link up the exhibition with Riga's wooden architecture – metaphorically, by singling out such places with the help of sound, as well as literally, via artistic audio guides. The second stage of the exhibition (01.07.14– 20.07.14) features Voldemārs Johansons (Latvia), Anke Eckardt (Germany), Tommi Gronlund & Petteri Nisunen (Finland), Heimo Lattner & Judith Laub (Austria / Germany), Carl Michael von Hauswolff & Leif Elggren (Sweden), Evelīna Deičmane (Latvia) and Max Eastley (Great Britain).
